Who are you?

My name is CJ Hughes, and I live in middle Tennessee.  I've been an artist my whole life.

How are your prints made?

My prints are created by a professional, USA based art printer using the Giclee print method.  Giclee is similar to an inkjet printer except it has six to twelve pigment colors instead of the standard four found in a home or office printer.  This allows for vibrant colors that are lost to the CMYK/ four color print process.

How are your prints shipped?

Your print may ship rolled or flat, depending on the size.  If it arrives rolled carefully unroll it, lay it on a clean, dry, flat surface and place books or record albums on it for a few hours.  It will then be flat enough to frame.  

Do I have to get your art custom framed?

NO!  Every single original or print I sell is in a standard frame size.  That means just about any hobby store or online retailer will have a frame to fit your art.

How are originals shipped?

As safely as possible. I take great care in packaging my originals.  For smaller pieces, 8"x10" and under, I ship in stay flat mailers.  Anything larger is shipped boxed and padded.  

Do you offer refunds?

Yes.  If your print arrives damaged, if it's the wrong print, or if there is something wrong with the actual printing, get in touch at howdy@cjhughes.art

I normally don't offer refunds on originals but reach out if there's an issue and I will do my best to make you happy.

When does the Happy Trails Mail print club ship?

I start shipping my print club out on the 20th of each month.  It normally takes about a week from then for everyone to receive their print package.

What is the cut off to receive this month's print club print?

Sign up by the 20th to receive the print for that month.  If you sign up after the 20th but before the first of the next month, your first issue will be the next month.
